To celebrate that I've decided to open up commissions (and because I just felt like it ), I've decided to hold my first art raffle.
What do I win?
A detailed painting or drawing of a character, creature or animal. The work can be traditional or digital and may be in color. For drawings with one character a simple background can be added. If you want an additional character, the drawing can only feature an abstract background or no background at all. In other words: my 800 point commission option for free.
Examples:
How do I join?
Simply adding this journal to your favorites is enough.
How do I get more entries?
There are several options which will gain you more entries:
Be my watcher. This means either adding me to your watchlist right now, or, if you already are a watcher, faving this journal will automatically give you two entries.
Sharing this journal. Either by creating a journal of your own or by creating a poll. Send me the link in the comments.
Is there only one prize?
No, if enough people join I'll add two additional prizes:
0 - 9 entries (favs): the prize mentioned before.
10-15 entries (favs): A simple drawing/painting (one character), sketch (line art) or chibi. The art can be traditional or digital according to your preference. The artwork can be in color, depending on the complexity of the drawing. In principle these prices are for one character, creature or animal. For simple designs, however, an additional character may be added. (400 point commission option for free)
15+ entries (favs): A detailed painting or drawing of a character, creature or animal. The work can be traditional or digital and may be in color. The drawing may contain a full background and/or multiple characters. (1600 points commission option for free)
What are the practical details?
The deadline for entering is set at the 6th of august.
People who join will be assigned numbers as their entries.
The winner will be chosen by random.org and announced 2 days after the deadline at latest.

I'm back! (again!)
It's been more than a year since I last uploaded something. It's not like I haven't been making any art, it's just that I was too lazy to put it anywhere other than on Instagram.
However, I decided I wanted to start posting regularly on DeviantArt again, since I've been devoting more and more time to art recently. Two months back I started a year of Schoolism self-study. The plan is to use this year to learn as much about art theory as possible and then apply this knowledge to developing the world I'm eventually planning on creating a comic in.
So expect loads of studies and concept art for the coming months.
[Insert creative title here] - AKA I got tagged
So I’ve been tagged by ~m1a1t7t (https://www.deviantart.com/m1a1t7t). I’ve decided I’m going to take a little liberty with these rules, since rules are only guidelines anyway. =P Instead of writing facts about myself, I’m going to write fact about Omnia (the world my novel takes place in) and its inhabitants. For the simple reason that that sounded like way more fun. :D
Also, I’m not saying I don’t do tags, I’m just saying I’m probably going to forget tagging people (and writing new questions).
THE RULES:
1. Write 13 facts about yourself
2. Answer the 13 questions asked to you and invent 13 questions the people you tag w
Keeping a sketchbook: misconceptions and tips
I’m a person who finds it really hard to keep a sketchbook. Ever since I’ve been able to hold a pencil I’ve had the tendency to pick up a sketchbook, draw a few things, put it away and forget about its existence, then buy a new sketchbook a few months later and start the whole process over again. I’ve never been able to finish even just one sketchbook. That’s why I’ve started my own sketchbook project which has one simple goal: finishing a single sketchbook (hopefully I’ll automatically continue filling sketchbooks afterward, but that’s not the point). Right now, I’m doing better than ever
